It was time to do the second bird survey of the year this weekend and the period of time between the two visits was some indication of the number of summer visitors that could be seen or heard.
In summary the visit produced a good number of Swallows, House Martins, single Whitethroat, Chiffchaff and Turtle Dove. Plus Skylark, Treecreeper and all the other normal suspects.
